MY ROLE
For this project as a Kickstarter supporter I worked with L.A. based devs, Heart Machine to develop a unique boss encounter that would challenge the player within the established play mechanics as well as fit in line with the art style and lore of the game.
My final boss design would be incorporated as the “Sorcerer” boss in the final shipped product.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
• Traveled to LA for initial design consultation
• Remote collaboration with team through development for design work
• Sketched original character concept art
• Documented characterization and backstory for the boss encounter
• 1-page design documentation on enemy attack behavior and patterns
