DESCRIPTION
Totem was one of five student capstone game projects in development as a part of FIEA’s Cohort 11 Class. Totem is an emergent 3v3 arena shooter with adaptive terrain deformation technology. As mystical shaman, defeat the enemy team in epic combat and combine forces to destroy their Totem base.
ROLE
My daily duties as Producer on Totem included leading daily stand-ups, planning and managing the tasks of the team, maintaining the development documentation wikis, project asset inventories, and bug tracking pipelines inside JIRA and Confluence project management software.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS
• Led cross disciplinary design solutions for adaptive terrain deformation technology
• Directed external playtest events that attracted 100+ attendees
• Directed and Coordinated international mocap, voice and musical talent for in game assets
• Scrum master for a 14 person development team where I Implemented pod structuring into a spiral development workflow
• Worked with programmers and animators to develop character animation state machines and unreal animation blueprints
• Developed and implemented a conditional team identification post process outliner using edge detection post processing nodes
